Dimples put a dent in my day!
By Tieastell on 7/26/2009
The services were absolutely terrible! When we got there, the workers were lounging in the childrenÂ’s seats, doing their own nails and entertaining their own friends. We were given a rush service. As we looked around and was checking out the products used, the foot polishes appeared to be moldy and dried up. These were the products that they prepared to use on our girls feet. When the facial treatment started there was no prep/cleaning of the face prior to applying the face mask, which was applied very sparingly. I mean, literally they barely put any on them. After leaving, we realized that my friendÂ’s daughter didnÂ’t have her face wiped off properly and she still had the facial residue and stickiness on her face. By the end of the evening, the girls nails designs and polish came off and they were left very disappointment and both me and my friend was furious! I would not recommend Dimples to anyone who wants their little girl to feel pamper. From the decor, to the services, we were terribly disappointed.
Good birthday party
By tg414 on 10/3/2009
I did my daughter's 8th birthday party at dimples yesterday. Everything went smoothly and the kids loved it. Decent price, easy to get to and attentive staff. We drove in from a different area in Brooklyn and I got lucky with a parking spot. Thank you to the girls who work at dimples and we will see you again.
My daughter had her first haircut here
By Dalilahs on 11/5/2009
I took my daughter here last January for her 4th Birthday and she got her first haircut. I was a little nervous at first because she has beautiful curly hair and I was afraid they wouldn't know how to do it. The salon was adorable, she was so excited to sit in the salon chair and even more excited that she got to watch Tinkerbell on the flat screen. Her "stylist" was Katie, and we all loved her. She did an excellent job on her hair and even blew it out straight for her which my daughter LOVED and the whole thing was only $10 since it was her first hair cut. I will definitly take her back.
