Dorit was so great when I was there the first time that I ended up going back to try and get rid of this MASSIVE head ache i had!! He was wonderful! He spent a lot of time on my neck, head, and shoulders to help relieve my tension that was causing my near migraine! They are also very good at accommodating your schedule since they are open so late. AND they have tons of great services and awesome packages, very affordable! I am going back soon! Ill keep you posted on how my trip is =)

I had to organize a group outing to a spa for a club I am involved with and stumbled upon Dorit Baxter. The spa was incredibly accomodating and went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was taken care of and pampered. The space itself is clean, well decorated and has a very relaxing vibe. The staff is also very knowledgable and everyone received great services for super reasonable prices. The facial is highly recommended!

I first went to Dorit Baxter 20 years ago when I was about 20 and am still going for facials and massages. In fact, I've gone to "bigger" spas and didn't find the service any better, but Dorit's prices are MUCH better! I take friends and family for special occassions and recommend it for days you want to treat yourself. They have great twitter daily deals, and gift certificates for the holidays. I feel the owners are happy to see me everytime I go, and I've even seen Dorit on the street once and she stopped to say hello..... It's considered the first "day spa" in NYC, and good to see they are still around. Their services are worth the great prices they are.

I came across Dorit Baxter yesterday when I was looking up SpaWeek and they were offering what I was looking for so I called them and was there an hour later getting my $50 facial! It was really nice, I mean except for the extractions that is NEVER nice haha! They were all really friendly and helpful and made you feel comfortable with slippers, ice lemon water, andyour own locker for the day! I will be going back to get the products she used on me, it made my skin feel great...expect another review on the products and/or my next treatment...body wrap or reflexology, only time will tell!!

I went to Dorit Baxter for a Full Day Chill out. I was so pleasantly surprised and left feeling like I was born yesterday. I had no waiting time at all! From one service to the next like they were all waiting for me. My day started with a 2 hour intense workout at 6:00 am at my gym and then I gave myself this treat of the full day spa. My first treatment was a facial which left my skin so vibrant and then a great manicure and pedicure with a salt scrub. Lunch on the house, I ordered a grilled salmon and mash potatoes for lunch...yum. Lemon ice water and a cookie to wash it down..ok maybe 2 cookies:). The second half of my day included a one hour massage, detoxifying herbal body wrap and body salt scrub...what a dream. I left dizzy from feeling so good. It was a day full of mind, body and soul just for me. I am a mother of 2 small princesses and never really do anything like this. With a window of opportunity I took it and ran!

This spa is so gorgeous and the people are so nice. For a lower price than anywhere else in manhattan, you can get a relaxing massage. I got the best swedish massage of my life and I can't wait to go back.

Spent half a day with my teenage niece there. We had facials, manicures, and pedicures. The facials were amazing. They catered to her teen skin needs and made her feel terrific. The pedicures are a bit pricey and I didn't love the experience of sitting on a couch while they where given... It wasn't comfortable for me.

I have never had a more marvelous facial.. For weeks my skin glowed. Ever since I started using their products I've received more complements on how healthy and young I look. No one knew I had just completed chemotherapy. I also applaud their other services as well. You leave feeling like you've been on a vacation.
