It was a cold, terrible afternoon, with nothing going the right way. After an hour of a fabulous massage, and the friendly and cozy environment, I walked out feeling renewed. I had a fantastic experience and I do recommend to anybody

Dorit Baxter Day Spa is my favorite spa: I like their massages and body treatments, I love the way they shape my eyebrows and do my manicure and pedicure, but most of all I love Dorit Baxter's facilas. That spa is the only spa in New York I trust for facials. That is why when I need to buy a gift, either a holiday gift, a baby shower gift or just birthday, I always get a Dorit Baxter gift certificate. My friends are always thankful and very happy with the gift and with the services and treatments they receive. I highly recommend the special holiday pampering package, which is a 1 hour massage and a facila for only $128. Great value, great combination of treatments and guaranteed satisfaction. I will be getting few of those for my friends and business colleagues.

My husband got me a 1/2 day body beautifier package for Christmas. We live in Maine & spend New Years in the Big Apple. This time we had a longer weekend, so this was his surprise to me. We walked in, were greeted by the owner and another woman with big bright smiles....ushered right into the changing room and right back with a facial to start! The owner "DB" did mine and she was great. You have to have the salt scrub massage-fantastic. I hope I'll be back again next New Year (with any luck sooner). Thanks to all & Happy New Year.

Every time I'm feeling like I need a renewal or a cleansing of my blackheads, I come in and the staff at Dorit Baxter take excellent care of me. In fact, my roommates always ask why I look like I'm glowing for the week after...I have this spa to thank for that- they seem to really know what they're doing with diff skin types. I highly recommend it for anyone who's feeling the affects of the season change or an unusual breakout- they'll clean you up and arm you with a regimen so you can continue treatments at home.

A rarity in today's New York Dorit Baxter combines a warm and friendly atmosphere with expert services. I find the regular prices reasonable and the specials a real bargain. I heartily recommend this spa with a heart in the heart of Manhattan

I've been going to Dorit for years now and its my absolute fave. The staff is great and Dorit offers wonderful services for very reasonable prices (not a rip off). I've been to the 'fancy' spa in NYC, and frankly, nothing else compares. They also have great packages and special promotions if you are looking for a combination of spa services. My favorite 'treatment' there though is the bikini wax. I hate nothing more and they always are quick and gentle- everything a girl could ask for! Dorit is the best. If you go, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

I go to Dorit Baxter for facials at least 3-4 times a year. Their service is very hospitable, and their products are TOP NOTCH - very effective to get nice skin, and are not irritating for sensitive skin, like mine. Every aestetician that I've ever had has been knowledgeable, kind, and gave a great facial. I really like that they will tell you what your skin type is and then recommend the best facial treatment to suit your skin. I really recommend it.

The most welcoming and refreshing experience I've ever had at a day spa. A few days ago, a colleague of mine recommend Dorit Baxter day Spa after she noticed how dry and irritated my face was. I decided to give it a try. Upon entering the spa, I could smell the calming and relaxing aroma that occupy the spa air which help me to relax before my treatment. I was impressed how knowledgeable and informative my facialist was. She educated me as to why my skin was so dehydrated and flaky. She did a sequence of deep cleansing, an organic peel to remove my dead skin cells and an oxygen spray to nourish my skin with vitamins. In the end my skin felt alive, lighter and hydrated. My facialist recommended home regimen products, but it was a 'soft' sale. I asked for samples to try first and they were given to me graciously. The price was good compared to other New York prices and I will certainly recommend this spa.
