What a wonderful place to go to! You will forget all your troubles. The people who work there are very nice, friendly, and professional. The place itself is very clean too. The treatments are relaxing and excellent. The owner is there most of the time and shows you a lot of personal care. I have been going there for 17 years, and my skin shows it!

Thanks to New York Mag I discovered this great spa right here on 57 St. The much needed facial was great as always and of course I did not miss out on having the bodyscrub. It was nice surprise to see the renovated spa. It looks gorgeous.

Facials: Strongly not recommended Massages: Wonderful but ask for a man. The place didn't give me a zen like feeling. I felt claustrophobic and unfresh. The spa employees were polite and friendly though.

I saw the article in NY mag and went for the bodyscrub and a facial too (there was a special going on, so I figured why not). The bodyscrub is really amazing. I love the way my skin felt afterwards. The facial was excellent too. I will definately go back to try the other treatments.

Cleared my pimples

I finally made time for a much needed facial. I have temperemental skin that often bursts into cysts and pimples. A friend at work raved about Dorit Baxter's facials so I decided to give them a try. I received the most professional, educational and effective facial. The skin care regimen which I hesitantly bought is really working. Thank you Dorit Baxter Spa for your integrity.

Great Body Scrub - Mediocre Facial

I recently had a "package" which was a very good price at Dorit Baxter, however the facial was sub-par at best. The steamer water smelled funny and it looked as though it had not been properly cleaned. The body scrub and the women who gave the treatment were GREAT. A fragrant salt and oil mixture was used. Overall, I would probably not go back, as I really wanted a good facial and this was not it.

I have been to Dorit Baxter a few times and each time I get exactly what I come for and enjoy my massage and facial. Great place for a really quick pick me up, espcially during this lousy cold weather we are having.
