best i ever had
By vamoose on 6/25/2010
I've been waxing for 7 years, and have been to countless technicians in several cities. Lucy was easily the most thorough and inexpensive I've had (Lucy's full leg and bikini is $55 - I usually end up paying around $100). She's sweet, confident, and doesn't force conversation, which I love. Sure, the room is tiny, but how much space do you really need when all you're doing is lying on a table? Definitely write down the address, though - I walked right past it (it's under a red awning - I didn't see a "Lucy's" sign anywhere).
I love Lucy! Best bikini wax & great service

I discovered European Nails by Lucy when in 2004 I looked for a bikini wax salon after trying several high-end spas and being dissatisfied with their service. Lucys was very highly rated at NY Magazine. Since my first visit, I havent been anywhere else, five years and counting. The service is excellent; the best quality at a great price. Ive recommended her service to numerous friends and co-workers.
I can't imagine going anywhere else

I have been going to Lucy for over 6 years for waxing including brazilian waxing and can't imagine going to anyone else to have this done. She is very thorough and is also very reasonably priced. Lucy has become a friend over the years and I look forward to seeing her every month.

A favorite neighborhood spot for very reasonably priced waxing! All the women in my family have been going to Lucy for years. Expect no frills, but you can count on thorough, friendly service from a woman who cares so much about her clients. Lucy will be moving to 82nd b/w 1st & 2nd...stop by for a mani/pedi or waxing!!!
Gross! No way!

I will never go back here. It is old and not very clean and the ladies were quite snobby. Prices were reasonable, however there are much better - and more atmospheric choices right in the same neighborhood.
