I've been to Fifth Avenue Beauty 4 times, each time worse than the last, I will never return. The nail technicians consistently rush through manicures, and do a sub-par job. On my last (and by far worst ) visit, I went for a manicure/pedicure. I told the technician I was in a rush, had to be out in 45 mins. While she was giving me a pedicure, an appointment walked in and she left me there for 10 - 15 mins. There were a bunch of other technicians who could have easily finished my pedicure while technician #1’s appointment came in. I'd told the owner I was in a rush - and she just looked over and did nothing about it. Terrible customer service. Furthermore, when the tech finally returned, she apologized over and over and had someone else work on my nails while she did my pedicure. OK - so she's trying to make up for it, and she's wining me back. It just gets worse. The lady doing my manicure (lets call her tech #2) stopped in the middle b/c she was uncomfortable standing up and told me to walk over to her chair when tech #1 was done with my toes. So after another 6 mins, tech #1 is finished with my toes and tells me to go to her chair. Here I am, two techs pull out their chairs for me. Which one do I go to? I look at the owner, she looks away. Can this get any more awkward? Both techs are calling me over and I suddenly feel like I'm in another country being hackled by vendors. Very unprofessional.

This salon lives to make customers beautiful and happy. It is clean, the tools used for the manicure and pedicures are sterilized and safe. I call this salon a one stop shop, everything is here you just need to have the time and the will to be beautified. The spa pedicure is out of this world. The hot stone lava massage is relaxing and therapeutic.
