Good Yoga feels miles away from everything... The beautiful space really draws you in, makes you feel calm and makes you feel open and friendly! I love how you can always find people sitting and chatting before and after class. Most people get to know your name, or even if they don't, they still smile at you and make you feel welcome. I've been taking Mika's class, and they've been a nice balance of challenging and fun. She's one of the more popular teachers, I think, but her classes are still intimate enough to go really deep and get plenty of personal attention and adjustments, which is great. She has a way of getting you to go inward, focus on your own practice, and give your self your best. She also chooses great music that really informs the flow and ambiance of the class, which is really important, because it doesn't distract, but really helps set a rhythm and mood and works with her teaching style so you can just forget about the poses, forget about the class, and really quiet your mind. I love Mika's class and can't recommend it enough!! Love everything about Good Yoga.

I have been coming to Goodyoga for about a year and every time I go I find a new reason to love it. You can find a class or a teacher to fit any mood or style, from Diane's very classical and rigorous Vinyasa to Flannery's eclectic and funky classes to Mika's fabulous restoratives. Everyone at Goodyoga, but especially Flannery, is supportive and helpful for yoga students at any level. Top it off with a beautiful space that includes rooftop yoga and I can't imagine a better place in Greenpoint, or indeed anywhere, to get your yoga on.
