I would like to post my complain against one of you stuff. We were a group of 6 guys, we came tonight around 8:30pm. She gave me a very bad image of your company. She compare the customers as MESSY DOGS. She also mentioned that she got $30 from a client and that's easy money in front of me. I sincerely think that it's not a proper attitude in front of the clients. I think the overall service is good other than this, she gave me a really bad image of your company. Please value customer service because it's a great asset for a company.

Good massage, scary place. The moment I walked through the door I was welcomed by a big waft of body odor. The place also had VERY poor air circulation. I don't know why I didn't just turn and run. The area that I was to get my massage was miniscule. That's a comment coming from me, 5'0' tall, 95 lbs. It was a space seperated by other massage areas by white sheets held together with binder clips. There was a table in the center of the "room", with a heated pad. Question: Do they change the sheets after every massage? You decide: There was a fresh long sheet of thin disposible paper COVERING the sheets- the kind that you find covering the examining chairs/tables in the doctor's office. And yes, I had to lie down on top of it while I had my massage. I perspired right through it. On either side of the massage table, there was about 1 ft of space where they expected me to change. A bathroom stall offers more room. All in all, I felt just plain icky afterward. It was hard to feel good after a massage when the place seemed so unsanitary.

Graceful Services isn't precisely "graceful." You get a great massage for a relatively low price, given the Manhattan location. When you go to the spa, you begin to understand why the prices are so low. I had a hard time finding the place because I wasn't expecting a hole-in-the-wall walk up next to a bodega. The massages are given in a corral-style area. Curtains are the only separation between you and the other clients. You can hear everything that goes on in all the other stalls so it isn't a serene environment. I was distracted by all the noises coming from other stalls, the waiting room, and the back area where they provide other services. Having said that, if all you want is a rubdown and you are unconcerned with relaxing your mind/spirit along with your body, then this is the place for you. And don't be unnerved by the pounding noises you hear coming from the other stalls...they sound more painful than they really are!

I was surprised to experience Graceful after reading great reviews on NYmetro. The atmosphere was shocking- the non-private service areas are separated by curtains that kept flying open, and my therpist had no coverage on me whatsoever. I was in the buff, and therpists other than my own would walk in and out, letting the curtain fly open for other customers to see!! I felt disgusting and was very disappointed. I had bad back pain or I would have walked out. The service itself was fine, but the atmopshere was too much to handle.

I have lived in Japan and China for the best part of the last ten years. Massage is a way of life there. Graceful Services captures the strength of Qi Gong and Shi Atsu with the gentleness and manners of China and Japan. Whenever I am in New York, a stop at Graceful services is a MUST!

What great massages! Graceful Service's Qi Gong massage techniques wipe away those aches and pains. And they truly do relieve stress. This salon really is a rare find in a bustling city. It is an oasis of calm and serenity.
