I've been a member since February and have observed the following in recent months: (1)Money from Community Yoga Classes (where teachers volunteer their time and all proceeds from people attending the classes is supposed to go to a named local charity) has NOT been going to the charities. Two that I know for sure are the Bushwick Food Coop and Bushwick IMPACT, who had packed community classes there in March (estimated donations of about $300, I believe) and haven't seen a cent. (2)Tide detergent being used in the wash room last night. I almost couldn't believe my eyes so I went in and asked the attendant who happily showed me both the huge, industrial bottle of Tide and something called "Suavesol" which came in a bright pink bottle and was certainly not "eco friendly" (3)While they boast about having water-efficient bathrooms on their website, the website doesn't mention that the showers take literally 5 minutes before they spout anything but freezing cold water. If you tell someone at the front desk "there's no hot water" the employee will tell you "yeah, it comes on. you just have to run it for about five minutes first." It is a common sight to see women in the locker room turn on the shower and then go sit in the sauna for five minutes, while water gushes out of the shower head. (4)An aerosol air freshener can behind the front desk and a bottle of industrial-looking window cleaner with the label conspicuously torn off.

The staff who works here is disgustingly rude, they do not know how to behave or speak to people in an appropriate manner. I would strongly suggest not to go to this place
