My personal sanctuary
By Graciefully_Me on 4/25/2005
Cozy, warm, and quiet, Haven is a spa experience you don't want to rush. They have rooms in the back for every service imaginable, and their waxing is thurough. Facials, massages, body wraps, I've not a negative experience. Manicures and pedicures here are also a wonderfully destressing experience, though I've had my share of questionable service. Just find your one nail specialist, and stick with her. Though comfortable and very relaxing, there have been times when the receptionists have been snotty, it is afterall SoHo. However, it hasn't happened in a long while, and I still faithfully go!

expensive back waxing
By bordoni on 1/14/2006
I've been to Haven 2x, because it's in my neighbourhood. First time had a 80 minute facial and eye treatment, back waxing plus bought 2 products. I spent about 300 $, which did not seem too pricey considering what I had received and quality had been good. The second time I had just a back (and a bit of the upper arm, which counted as half arm) waxing; it took no longer than 20 mins and spent 100$. I believe this is outrageous! 20 mins to perform one of the most basic jobs in a spa...100$, like a more than fancy hair cut, like a consultation at NYC most famous shrink! DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I'll never go back.

great service!
By misslippy on 2/11/2010
i just visited haven for the first time and its hidden location in SoHo is wonderfully relaxing as soon as i stepped inside. i just paid WAY to much for a shotty bikini wax at bliss. Haven was amazing. most precise wax ive ever had and priced very fairly. efficient and fast, but not in a hurry. Stalina was my asthetician and i highly recommend her relaxing quiet and professional atmosphere!

There are many better places
By maxyshape on 7/24/2017
My experience in this spa complex was not the best and brightest, really. I was in many institutions, but all the staff seemed to be against you, too spiteful and self-satisfied. Prices are also slightly higher. Â Using the search I found another spa in the NYC - http://www.goldenapplespa.com Much better: pricing, staff and location. That was not the best experience for me. I would not recomend you to visit this place
