My hair is like silk
By lisa10012 on 5/21/2007
I had my hair straightened here after seeing it in this magazine. Head Quarterz is almost like a science lab! They measured my hair for thickness & did all these tests. . they really tailor the treatment to you. Steve, who did the straightening, is very nice and serious about the process. And of course the price is very good compared to other salons. All in all very good!
Average Chinatown Salon
By sharonlou23 on 11/6/2008
Born and raised in Chinatown NYC and have tried numerous places over the past 30 years. Based on all the great reviews, yesterday I finally decided to go give Steve a try. I was so excited and was expecting something different than the usual Chinatown hair salons. All in all it was average. Haircut is the same but more costly ($40) than what I am used to paying ($20) for the same at my previous stylist on Pell Street.

I went to Head Quaterz Salon and i ask to do a blow dry. And i ask Key Yeung to do it for me. After 20 min, my hair is so soft and is beaitful. All of my friend says my hair is so pretty and ask me where do it. I say ''Head Quaterz Salon''.

Hair Color and Cut
By MaryCatherineGeorge on 9/6/2008
I randomly selected this salon because I was frustrated after leaving housing court. I was so surprised to receive such an amazing relaxing shampoo followed by a wonderful haircut with a even better reasonable price. I returned a second time to get my hair colored with a rather complex coloring with low lights and highlights and I was so impressed with the care and interest that was taken by John the stylist and the owner. It was great. I am so thrilled by the color and cut again and with a wonderful reasonable price. I am hooked by this nice and service oriented friendly salon that I am taking all my hair needs here and telling all my friends. Thanks John for your attention to how I look and feel. Mary
