Yes, I would go back!

after reading about stylist terri fellows in a magazinge I decided to fly up to NYC from Florida for a cut. As a former New Yorker living in florida I was desperate. My experience at the James Corbett salon was well worth the plane ticket and I plan on flying back whenever necessary. Terri was exceptional and so was James and the studio. Would highly reccomend.

Yes, I would go back!

Finally, a colorist who can recreate my natural shade of black-brown PERFECTLY...James, I love you!! And Khara's cuts are AMAZING. The day after I got my hair cut my 20 year old assistant took one look at me and said, "Wow - you look like a rock star!" The James Corbet Studio is truely a rare tucked-away gem of a salon. Everyone I send there is THRILLED.

Yes, I would go back!

As a dedicated blonde for life (who was unfortunately born with brown hair), James has made all my dreams come true. He is seriously a genius with highlights and no one in NYC rivals him (and I have tried them all). His humor and personability make every trip to his studio a delight. Once you start, you won't be able to stop! I would recommend him to anyone (and have!)

Simply put, James is the best colorist out there. After years of trying to find a colorist that knows their stuff and delivers without the damage I am thrilled to say "I have found him". The Studio is the perfect zen hideaway that always stocks amazing products and the stylists are spot on. I recently cut over 6 inches off my hair and changed my color. As always I got compliments galore and absolutely love the new look. Cannot say enough great things about James and his staff!!

I was referred to James after I walked away from another salon in tears with the exact color I said I didn't want. James treated me like a longstanding client even though we'd just met. He immediately made me feel comfortable and he gave me the perfect color. I've been a devoted fan and client ever since. Visits to James' studio are like visits to a friend's home - between the beautiful, relaxing decor and James' warmth and sense of humor, you'll want to hang out even after your appointment. I found the perfect salon and stylist. I won't trust my hair to anyone else!

I have been going to James Corbett for over six years and would never let another person touch my hair for color. He is a magician when it comes to determining the best color for you while at the same time keeping it inventive with each visit. His studio is gorgeous and welcoming - even when you don't have an appointment! He is honestly the best colorist in town and I know that not only from my experience, but from the hordes of people I have sent to see him. Everyone is ecstatic everytime. Go see him now!
