I've read about Jefrey's forever, and then happened to walk by it today and went in. It has a beautifully edited colection. The salesperson that helped me was brilliant. She picked things i would have never looked twice at, and when I put them on, they were asolutely perfect. At Jefrey's you may pay up for the labels and the service, but I know every purchase I made will be worn over and over and over again. Nothing trendy, just timeless and gorgeous and special, and different from what everyone else has. I can't recommend this place more! My salesperson (Ebone) was so nice, so NOT snobby, read my style, my lifestyle, my body type perfectly. I can't recommend HER more! OBSESSED with this place, and will definitey be back!

From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a friendly staff of Apparel "consultants" that provide you with all the assistance you need only when "you" need it. They seem to have limited runs from all the best designers. For instance Prada, Michael Kors, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Libertine as well as the newest cutting edge designers like Devon Scott NY. If You want expert opinions and selections for a well cut personalized garment that is going to complement your individual body type, this is the place, but not without the price. Want excellence you must pay a little more, mediocre off the rack is on sale all day, just not here.

Yes, so it's super-pricey, but you get what you pay for: incredibly attentive service, exclusive designers and hard-to-find merchandise (particularly shoes and bags), and a luxe/fun atmosphere. Best shoes in the city, even better than Barneys -- not in sheer volume, but in the finely edited down collections. It's just the stuff you want; none of the clutter. But unless you are willing to drop at least $300 (for sunglasses or gloves), just be happy browsing.

I think Jeffrey's has a bad rap. Sure it is a bit intimidating when the staff is taller, chicer, and speaks more languages than you. Still most of them are not the snobs that used to work there. Nothing like an SNL sketch to change your customer service policy. Anyway, fabulous shoes and designers.

It's always an experience going to Jeffrey . Amazing variety of the latest runway and couture fashion , and always up to the minute on style. Shoe selction is to die for ! Service is great (ask for Louise or Teddy). The only downer is the hefty price tags . Often can get some (NOT ALL) of the same items cheaper at Saks, Barneys or the designer's own boutique. Best time to go is just around Thankgiving for great sale prices . If you want something really unique and don't mind dropping major coins, this is the place to go
