After reading the wonderful reviews for Simone Mangano, I decided to try the miracle of the best colorist in the world first hand. Boy have I lived to regret it!! Instead of my beautiful blone and caramel highlighted hair, I got red hair with brown highlights. When I told Simone the color was too dark for me, she claimed my hair was too damaged to die blond...$300 down the drain! I AM NEVER EVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN... My advice: STAY AWAY!!

SImone Mangano is the most talented hair colorist! My hair has literally never looked better, whether we decide to change the shade or just maintain it. She is incredibly talented and a doll to visit. I would and have recommend her to anyone.

Simone Mangano is the yet to be discovered star of the coloring world. She's a mix master!! I've been platinum for several years now, but have only been seeing her this past year, and my hair has never looked better. I used to have bands on my hair, like a zebra, not terribly noticeable, but now I have none, and never will again. She's so meticulous, every head is a work of art for Simone. Ladies and gents, there is no one better in NYC. Give her one try and she'll amaze you!

Service and attitude especially in an upscale pricey salon is essential. Having given this salon several chances, believing that these colorists and stylists may be just having a bad day, I found it not to be the case. If I could describe what they are saying to their clients without saying it aloud it would sound like this: Who cares if you do not return, you are expendable, and can be easily replaced. One of the worst drainers on self-esteem is a colorist named Gina G. I have never seen her smile or act with any trace of graciousness. Here is a news flash----if you think your attitude is admirable keep it up and your clients will find a more personable salon that charges the same rates that you do.
