Came here with many doubts and excitement at the same time. The massage was really great and korean body scrub was amazing. It is very different from body scrub using salts. My skin felt silky soft. The staffs were great. I had to leave the review because I really enjoyed this spa and everyone should know that this spa is not bad like some other reviews say. I really enjoyed the whole sauna experience not just massage and having nothing else to enjoy.

I DO NOT recommend Juvenex spa. Here are some reasons why: 1. 4 out of the 5 showers I could see were broken. 2 were missing knobs. 2. No designated dressing rooms. We actually had to wait each time for a facility room to become available. 3. Staff talking loudly all the time - basically loud, non-stop chatter that can be heard inside the facility rooms. Not relaxing at all. 4. Most of the staff does not speak English - asking for a glass of water can be a big deal. One person has to go get another person who can speak. 5. Chaotic and disorganized. Even though there were so many staff members hanging around (not doing much) the spa bath still overflowed - a customer had to make them aware becuase nobody was watching it. From beginning to end it was an unsettling experience. Does not even come close to what you imagine from seeing the ad in the paper.

After reading the NYMag review on the spa - I decided to give it a shot. The spa itself shouldn't even be called a spa. * I received my gift certificate two months after my friend bought it for me, somehow it was "lost in the mail" * your reservations won't guarantee anything - so don't bother making them * no locker rooms, you'll change behind chairs unless a massage room is available * Japanese-Style Soaking Ponds = broken tiles, no jets, cold water. 1 of 3 was empty when I was there. * no one tells you where to go, what to do and how long to stay for (complete confusion by every staff member) * 90 minute procedure actually took me over 2 hrs because of the wait * loud, not relaxing, frustrating I have the same $145 basic purification + 30 min massage done at a proper Korean spa in Flushing for $90 and everything is better, the scrub, massage, cucumber mask - not to mention everything is more organized and cleaner!
