I was given a free consultation with Takako, who was very honest and put no pressure on me for what to do. I returned to get subtle highlights with her and she is incredible. She's very sweet, thoughtful, and immeasurably knowledgeable about hair. I came back recently to get my roots done and to get a haircut - the whole process was seamless. From the past two times, I feel like I could go in and just let her do what she thinks would look best on me, both color and cut-wise, and there's not a doubt in my mind that I'd be happy with the results. The only reason I give an 8 for value is b/c I still think it's a bit ridiculous to charge $90 for a haircut, but I'll absolutely go back forever because I know I'll never be disappointed with Takako's work.

Ryan has been awesome, he has been doing my hair for quite a few months and I couldn't be happier. He always gets it done, literally exactly like I want it, I've been to a lot of salons and I'm glad I finally found this place. All the stylists are amiable and say hello, and quite a few, even though I'm not their client know me by name and always say hi. Great place to get your hair done. The scalp massage is amazing as well. Highly recommend Laicale and Ryan especially.

I have been going to Laicale off and on for years. After leaving in search of a different salon experience, I came back. Laicale is like no other. Compared to other salons that I have visited in the city, Laicale's experience is unique, a good value, and a wonderful time. I do not just go there to get a haircut, I go for feeling I get when I am there, and how great I look afterwards. My stylist Aya is wonderful. I give her creative control and she is able to give me a haircut that fits my life and my style. Everyone at Laicale is friendly and helpful. The loft - like atmosphere is not cold, but strangely inviting. It's the only place that I will go to now, ever.
