I brought pictures, I just wanted a very slight change and a little angle at the front. Instead I ended up with a scraggly tail in the back that is four inches longer than the rest of my hair and a square that goes all the way around my head. Basically, a poodle mullet. Carlos is more interested in "teaching you" what you're doing wrong and what you need to be doing instead, instead of paying attention and making sure you get the shape you ask for. Then, he put me under the dryer with some metal clips and shook my hair out. I knew something was off but i thought once the weird 80s hight at the crown went down it would look a little better. I paid, tipped and left. Four hours later I came back in tears, and instead of an apology and an attempt to make amends, all I received was rudeness and hostility, and an offer to chop off more of my hair. He acted like it was MY fault. You know, even if i was mute and deaf, if I show you a picture and you're holding the scissors... its your problem not mine. A simple "I'm sorry" would have been sufficient. Truth be told, he can cut curls, but that's not of much use if you end up with a mullet of perfect ringlets. Oh well, lets hope the next three years go by quickly so i can get back to where I was. If only I could stop crying...
