OK, so the waiting room is not at all restful, but you cannot beat the quality or the prices! They are supposedly redoing the waiting area to make it more serene, but that's been going on for years now and it doesn't appear that they've made much progress. Book appts. early, people always go back so it's pretty packed all the time.

The employees at the Badescu spa are very friendly and considerate to your needs. Privacy is honored and comfort was a priority. The staff were all well versed in skin care and happy to help.

Quality is excellent, great products. If you are planning the appointment for the facial, ask for Madonna. She has amazing hands and quiet personality That allows you to enjoy your moment.

This facial was the least relaxing I have ever had---the estheticians treat 2 people at the same time, so she rushed through my treatments to run to the other client. Overall, my skin came out feeling and looking good, but the place was lacking in "spa" relaxation. It was a good bargain, but thats because you only get 1/2 of a treatment. Would go back if I needed an emergency facial, but not recommended. On a positive note: lots of free samples

This was the most stressful facial I have ever received. It was a sales pitch the entire time. Before the esthetician even looked at my skin she had a brochure in my face telling me I needed to get a supplementary item (Not cheap) for the facial to be effective. She was so fast with application of the products it was actually uncomfortable. There was no music or white noise to absorb all of the movement and appointments in the rooms next to mine, not even possible to relax. Half way through the facial she started again with the sales pitch. When she left the room after applying a mask... she left the accordion door open until she came back, 15 mins later! Interior was abysmal and not clean. I highly DO NOT recommend this place.

While the person who did my facial was very kind, she was completely inept at extractions. There were nail marks all over my skin afterwards, and while some facials do leave your skin tender and red for a day or two, I have visible bruising and obvious redness four days later. I went to visit my dermatologist, and she prescribed me some medicine to help fade the red marks that were left over from the brutal extractions of the facial, and I certainly hope it helps. Although the people are kind and the service is cheap, I would not recommend going to Mario Badescu.
