Your Search Is Over...

I have been to many salons in Manhattan but none more excellent than Michael Angelo's Wonderland Beauty Parlor! Get an appointment with Michael, Michael The Angel, Beautiful Michael, Michaelangelo Of Hair, and he will transform you. As you enter a super-hip, modern version of the Sistine Chapel expect to become the subject, canvas and spotlight of his extreme creativity, fashion and style. Like a true artist, Michael sculpts, creates and defines your entire persona. This is indeed a wonderland beauty parlor, where you are allowed to dream, fantasize and expect the very best.
Michael Angelo is Wonderful
By donna2056 on 10/18/2007
Michael Angelo’s secret is he loves what he does and he does it so well. I went to Michael three years ago my hair was over processed, just a mess, I was kind of embarrassed to even go into the Salon- needless to say he worked his magic. I noticed a difference immediately. Three years later my hair is in excellent condition and has never looked better. Wonderland Beauty parlor is a fun place to go to get your hair done or just browse around. Michael has a great staff they are all very accommodating and helpful. I recommend Wonderland beauty Parlor to everyone it is a great experience.
Hair Hall of Fame!
By kris03 on 10/18/2007
When I first met Michael Angelo my hair was dry, brittle, and unevely dyed. Now my hair has a life of its own. It grows faster, feels softer, and has a refined polished look that most salons cannot achieve. The salon has an amazing energy and is stunning to see. Michael Angelo's talent and skill come effortlessly in this glamourous hair heaven experience!

This place is perfection. Annastastia cuts my hair and is fabulous. They also do brilliant nails, have a cute little shop, and warm, hip staff. I won't go anywhere else.
Tiffani rocks my world!
By eileenyoung on 8/6/2010
Tiffani is the only person I will let touch my hair since my first cut with her in October 2008. I have a very short hair cut, and even though it's a little different every time (I like change), it always looks great. I sit in the chair and we have a quick chat, I bring in a few pictures, and let her work her magic. I've seen her do great things with all types of hair, and everyone gets out of her chair with a smile. The rest of the staff is awesome too. Friendly, helpful, makes you feel right at home from the second you walk in to when you leave. Will not go anywhere else, I love this place.
15 year customer

I have been going to Michael for 15 years and I have always been happy, ALWAYS! I enter a little brown and down and then emerge 2 hours later blond and happy. The staff is warm, helpful and fun. Michael understands the blondorexia in all of us. I will be a lifelong customer---you should be too!

I've got an N of 2 -- as in, I can count the number of times that I've frequented the salon on 2 fingers. However, given the nature of the visits (long and extended) I feel justified in offering my two cents. The WEEK before my wedding I decided that what I really needed was a pre-ceremony soiree at a salon with my female relatives and friends. Against all odds, the folks at the salon made it happen. Not only did they coordinate the schedules and demands on my behalf, they served the sushi, poured the champagne, patiently doted on aunts and grammas who didnt bother to schedule appointments, etc., etc. PLUS...the makeup, the nails, the hair was totally fab. Worth every last penny. In sum, they've got my vote.
Michael is an "out-of the-box" thinker, a true learner, and an awesomely creative person.

My hairdresser, Michael Angelo, owner of Wonderland Beauty Parlor in the Meatpacking District of NYC, is an extrordinary hair stylist. But that's not why I go to him. I go to him because he has a huge heart; he cares deeply about people and about our world. Michael is an "out-of the-box" thinker, a true learner, and an awesomely creative person. Moreover, at every appointment, he shows up fully present, true to who he is. Over and over again, I walk away feeling inspired (and, of course, with a great cut and color!).
