My hair is almost totally grey, brittle, and willful. I have had my hair colored by several different stylists there. I always play around and change it up with the color, which probably isn't so good for my hair. Mousey Brown's stylists keep my hair in fabulous condition, especially given what I end up wanting to do to it. Light , dark, red , blond , and everything in between. My newest favorite is the INOA permanent hair color. Between that and the treatments they use afterward, my hair has never felt better. And it is a permanent color! I like the way the glazes can feel, but they fade so fast that it isn't so perfect for me. The INOA is magic and worth the extra cost.

I've gone to mousey brown for nearly a decade. I followed after an inexplicable move from hip Bedford ave address hair salon to a sunny corner of run down McCarren Park a few years ago. I didn't really get it. Who knew? Regardless, they do hair really well. I generally take an appointment with anyone, and I have always been happy with the results. I love the glaze hair color they use to tone out my grey; and a haircut. It runs me about $150. with the tip. Somewhat less than other hairsalons in the 11211 zip that are quality salons. So , I do give it a 10 out of 10 rating, for being a first class salon in Brooklyn.
