Hey everyone I want to share with you guys why I am so enthusiastic about this salon. The women who work here are competent and kind woman. They always make me feel welcome and give the best service. Another reason would be the fact that they are open ont Sunday. This is so good for me because I run all of my errands on Sunday and because they are open on Sunday I have the flexibility to come in when ever I want because I know they are open.

I have been getting my eyebrows done by rivka for a few years now, and she has never let me down and I always leave feeling beautiful and confident . I recently lost my job (CitiCorp) near the salon and I live in downtown brooklyn, I still go to rivka for my eyebrows. This girl definitely knows her stuff!

Nowhere in Midtown will you find such great service and cleanliness!!! They emphasize on sanitation and customer service. The price is well worth the piece of mind. Everyone was extremely friendly and thoughtful from the time I walked in the door and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time, I even got a complimentary cocktail ;). You must visit Nails on 54th salon (bet Park and Lex), or you do not know what you are missing.

BEWARE! Get a receipt for your service and hold on to it. Better yet, go somewhere else. I went in for a $10 manicure special at lunchtime. I paid for the manicure with my credit card and left the tip in cash. My credit card was charged $43.12 two weeks later. I called several times and the manager wasn't helpful, he said to take it up with my bank. Since I did not have a receipt, my bank did not credit me the overcharge. For $43.12, I received a mediocre manicure and a lesson learned. Definitely not a special. I will warn all my friends in midtown not to go here.

I have now tried Nails on 54th twice and was extremely disappointed. On my first visit, I paid for a full pedicure and literally got a paint job. The manicurist clipped the tips of my toe nails, painted them and I was off to the dryer. On my second visit, the owner/manager was extremely rude to me. Instead of aplogizing and/or explaining himself when I complained, he turned his face, completely disregarding me. I would never go back, nor would I recommend Nails on 54th.
