Great Haircut with Faith

Yes, I would go back!

After trying a number of salons including Bumble & Bumble and similar salons and ending up with disappointing results, I decided to bid on a gift certificate for Oscar Blandi at an auction for a charity. I won! I called Oscar Blandi a few months later and the receptionist was great and informed me of the cost of everything without my asking (I was concerned $100, the value of the card, wouldn't get me even half a cut). She set me up with a weekend appointment and a junior stylist, Faith. The big day came and the salon was super busy but everyone was very nice without overdoing it (I've felt over catered to in some other places). Faith's assistant brought me over to her and we discussed what I wanted. Faith listened, recommended some options, and we came up with exactly what I wanted. Tess, Faith's assistant, recommended some products for my fine hair and after shampooing, Faith began what turned out to be the best cut I've ever gotten. She was quick, friendly and the cut was the subtle change I wanted. All in all, a great experience and worth the money ($120 + tip).

I am completely and utterly fussy about whoever even touches my hair, and was pretty nervous going to Kyle and Oscar for a cut and full head of highlights. My hair was not how I wanted it after visiting a top London hair salon, so I went to them for help. An hour later I had the most beautiful, thick creamy blonde hair I have ever, ever ever had. Both Kyle and Oscar were incredible - I'm a new regular

Yes, I would go back!

OMG! I have tried everyone in New York City that are known for doing the best blondes and no one compares to Jennifer. When I came in I saw Julia Stiles in her chair and was immediately impressed with how amazing her hair looked. I tried other colorist there but no one is as special her. I found her through 2 random girls that i commented on their gorgeous blonde locks. Not only does she do a supreme job but could not be nicer and consistent. I promise you will not be dissapointed if you try her. Major plus for New Yorkers - she is FAST! In and out during a lunch break. She is new the salon and I am so happy i found her. Never had more compliments on my hair ever. Oh, and did I mention she has the best assistant Luis! I LOVE Oscar Blandi!

I have heard the tales of Kyle White for the last decade but was to scared to use him.After going to every other celeb colorist in NYC I saved up the 500 dollars,after googling his name and seeing him on every major Fashion mags web site including Vogue,Allure and In Style (to name a few)I made the appointment.I was so nervous I couldnt sleep the night before my appointment.I mean this guys celebrity client list reads like an episode of access hollywood.The salon is massive and Kyle is right in the front window.The whole process was over in about an hour.In that time I saw 3 Real New York City Housewives,Donny Duetch and Kyle was working on figure skating legend Dorothy Hammill .I have never gotten more compliments on my color ever.I beleive this has been the most exciting day of my life!!

I have never written a reveiw before in my life but I feel I owe it to the god of a colorist Kyle White .I had my hair done at another very famous salon and the colorist destroyed my color.I was refered to Kyle by my freind and went there in tears ( and a baseball hat).He assured me he could help and boy did he ever.He not only fixed it he gave me the most flattering color of my life in under an hour!! He was fast,quiet,very expensive and worth every penny.I will forever be in his debt..I love you Kyle!! P.S. While I was processing I saw Kelly Ripa getting a hair cut..Kyle was touching up Jullianna Margules and Beyonce was getting a relaxer !!..WOW

all the obssesion with Kyle White had me intrigued and my suspision was right..He is an amazing artist .He had me done in a flash and I had the best hair color of my entire life.You dont have celebrities like Mariah flying him all over the world for nothing.I saw Uma Thurman leaving his chair as I arrived..He is expensive but it was worth it. Kyle recommended Nunzio and he was right on.Nunzio was an absolute perfectionist.My hair has never been more flattering..I am in love ..broke but in love!!! With myself and my hair!! LOL

Oscar did my consultation-Loved him Diego did my color-It looked so natural-It was spectacular- Diego did an awesome job Gloria did my cut. She is fabulous-Loved the new me-She knew what I needed for a new youthful 47 year old looking to re invent herself

KYLE WHITE - WORST COLOUR / WORST SERVICE

No, I would not go back!

After all the positive reviews on Kyle White, I made an appointment. After the introduction, I said that I would like baby blonde highlights, he replied "whatever you want". As he walked away he said "you want a full head", I replied "yes", he then said "that will be $550" (I was very much aware of the price which was not an issue). I found his delivery very odd - perhaps he thought he was too expensive for my taste!! In summary, I was presented with filthy brushes, a full head of "frosting" from the 80's - my hair was so broken from the chemicals that I was in shock. I would have paid anything to walk out with his amazing "signature colour" - don't believe the hype. It looked like I purchased a kit at the drugstore. I had overheard that the positive hits were posted by employees - now I believe it. I have travelled and lived in many countries and when it comes to talent, hygiene and service, and putting the client first - Oscar Blandi Salon and Kyle White are so far the worst ever in their craft.

I saw all the reviews and decided to see for myself.I loved my color.Kyle was a bit quiet but he just seemed focused on the work.He gave me the exact color I wanted.I almost never have a hair colorist get it right on the first try.As far as cost I had asked at the front desk his fee and always apprecaite knowing the cost upfront rather than being shocked at the checkout.All and All it was great,fast,efficient and fabulous.I will be back for sure !!
