I am a stylist myself and have been to many a stylist for the perfect cut. As a curly/wavy hair girl who needs to be at work sometimes at 6 am, it is very difficult to get a wash and go look. Pepper has been my godmother of a hairdresser. From the first time she cut my hair I was hooked! With Peppers haircuts it takes me 5 minutes of styling time and my hair look trendy and beautiful all day long. I would recommend this Salon to every person of all hair types and background!

Pepper Pastor: A Cut Above the Rest.

Most salons in NYC are constrained by convention, driven by sales rather than by creativity. At these salons, the lead stylists are unapproachable and aloof, present in name only. This is not that kind of salon. Pepper's salon is a space of quiet elegance, oozing with style. A cool soundtrack provides the backdrop for Pepper and her highly-capable stars to perform their magic. Pepper's skills are matched only by her warm and engaging personality. If you are looking for a salon experience that will leave you feeling beautiful in addition to looking it, this is that salon.

A star is born...

I've been going to Pepper for several years (first at another salon, and now at her own hip place). I knew from the first time she worked her magic that I'd never go to anyone else--I even booked her for my own wedding! Pepper is an unbeatable combination of intuition and creativity, while focusing on your unique features to make you feel amazing and confident. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, The Pepper Pastor Salon was born. The space is truly beautiful--not a detail was spared--and the stylists and staff genuinely care about pampering their clients. My recent visit was extra special, thanks to one of the salon's stars and makeup artist, Emma, who showed me how to beautifully transition into summer makeup. Hands down a truly special place that that I highly recommend.

Pepper Pastor IS This Salon!

Wow! What a hard-working doll! I had such a perfect afternoon and the salon is gorgeous in an artistically quirky way. So much so, that I trusted her visionary hair genius implicitly and let her have fun, and fun she had! Like a mixologist who makes you the perfect cocktail, so I was given the most provocative and lovely hair look I have ever sported! Easy to maintain and my locks look damn cool to boot! The location is great too especially in the summer being so close to the water and the charming cobblestones of South Street Seaport.
