Laser hair: Nerveous guy calmed by Christina
By phoenixJB on 1/5/2006
Just wanted to say that as a guy I was very intimidated by the idea of laser hair removal. I went in nerveous and with my doubts. Then I met Christina. She put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable. She's a pro and trust me she works on areas that I hadn't even considered! The best thing besides Christina, has to be the value. The salon is not a super frills kind of place, but I don't need it. I'd settle for professionalism, value and honesty any day.

Hey readers!!! I took your advice and I went to this spa and did Laser Hair Removal...I am soo happy..thanks..I started out with a brazilian and ended up doing my legs, arms and underarms..They are very qualified and have alot of experience..please ask for Joanne..and anyone who has been debating for a few years like me..don't debate..It is permenant and they have the best equipment and prices in NYC..and it took me only 7 sessions to complete..plus they are honest and thats hard to find..they initially told me 7-10 sessions for complete permenant hair removal and it only took me 7...they are honest, so give them a try...

Do not pass up this spa..I have been to every expensive spa in NYC..And this one beats them all...I had a brazilian bikini For only $20.00 They made me feel so comftorable. They gave me a coverup, which was a big plus, before I entered the room..The waxing technician, was a pro..I was in and out and Hairless in 15 minutes..I do reccomened appointments, I had one so I didn't have to wait, but I saw a few walkins having to wait..great atmosphere, great staff and great prices..ask for nellie...also, i had a consultation for laser hair removal..I will be doing it in 2 weeks, christina was nice, I will let you know how it goes...lol

laser-wax-facial-nails THE BEST SPA IN NYC
By jodilenee on 5/22/2005
I read other reviews and went and did it all...received a facial with Rebecca...the best facial ever.received a pedicure from maria..made my feet smooth..had a brazilian also with maria..cheap and great.also, what I loved was, they didn'tjust throw me in the room like other places do with no coverup..they hand me a towel, when i walk in , so i think that was a big plus..but the best was the laser, i had 2 treatments prior and my dermotologyst office.. they gave me Jo Anna..she was great., she was honest, with my skin color..olive it will take 8 sessions, i appreciate this, since my dr. lied and told me 3-4....she explained that the 1st treatment shocks the hair, so they all grow back the same time. the 2nd and 3rd thin out the hair, the 4th one it starts to get permenant.this all made sense, my dermotologyst never fully explained it like this..i also bought a 5 session package and the price of that was what 2 laser sessions would be at my doctors. ask for joanna laser is great

I had laser previously in a more expensive salon and was told I would be hairless in three sessions. Needless to say I wasn't. I went to THIS salon and Cristina explained the laser removal procedure and made me feel comfortable and confident. She promised me that if I was consistant I would be hair free in 6-8 treatments. She explained that hair removal cannot be achieved in only 3 sessions. I really appreciate her honesty and she is a great techician as well. Her personality makes the process very comfortable. I would recommed this salon and Cristina highly. The salon itself is also very friendly and accomidating. I also had a pedicure with Elena. She was fabulous as well.

I bought a series of laser treatments (they discount if you buy a series) and am thrilled with the results. Christina is wonderful. She makes you feel very comfortable - regardless of what body part she is addressing. Virtually pain and anxiety free! I recommend this salon and Christina highly!
