At least they were helpful
By pynkstarr33 on 9/18/2010
I was able to find help easily. And I went to the location on 5th ave. They were pleasant. Luckily I didn't feel watched. Wasn't greeted at the door though. And had to wait to be served. But once I was she was nice. I would go back....when I get a job....lol. Their products are online only products without the S&H. But still a little out of my budget. But then again most of the products I bought are expensive.
They Make You Feel Like A Thief Here
By nydiva on 2/1/2008
Walk into a Ricky's and watch the employees watch you. They make you feel like you are a potential thief. And, the employees are really not very pleasant. In one location they wanted to see my driver's license before they let me purchase on a credit card. I guess the ACLU would appreciate the store's non-discrimination policy, but as a middle-aged woman accustomed to much larger purchases without proving identification, I did not like it. Ricky's hase some great hard to find things, but it doesn't compensate for the horrible low-class environment of the stores (and I've been to several).

What a find! You have to visit them at 42nd Street and 5th Ave
Halloween Costumes - Two thumbs up!
By Jock on 1/13/2003
Ricky's has the most amazing costume selection. This past Halloween it was especially fun and creative. Better than past selections. Two thumbs up!
