I have been going to Ringo's Salon for over a year now. The cut is always quality & last a good few months keeping its shape & looking sharp. Ringo always tries to modify the cut each visit so there's no chance of getting stuck in the same old same old & he's also flexible to fit in an appointment around my nerve shredding schedule.

Whenever I plan a trip to NY, I always book an appointment with Ringo. He gives all his attention to the client and his work. He takes the greatest care with your hair and you feel great when you walk out of his salon. He understands hair and the cut he gives always grows out well and is easy to maintain. Simply one of the best treasures in NY! VL

Ringo is awesome. Im from out of state and get my hair cut every few months by Ringo. He always remembers me by first name when I call, always makes time for me and gives me an amazing haircut that suits me and my hair. This guy is an artist; Ringo is a perfectionist. The experience is personal and not for the timid. Edgy haircuts... that makes Ringo Yip unique! Dont go to Ringo if you want Supercuts...been going to him for a few years now and am absolutely committed. Liz

ringo consistently gives the best cuts in the city at an affordable price. he takes his time (so, if you're looking for a speed cut...head on over to supercuts, please) and that's a bonus given that his prices aren't inflated to reflect the care he puts into each client's experience. it's the kind of cut that grows out well, so even if i can't make it back to see him for two months, the cut still holds up. brilliant. i'm loyal to him because i tried scores of other folks before, only to walk away feeling that they didn't have the creativity, skill and edge to give me the cut i wanted. frustrating...especially when paying top dollar. re: the previous reviewers comments: i've had to wait before at ringo's. once or twice. but then i learned to build some time into my schedule. he runs a small, salon, not a factory. and when clients show up late, he gets backed up, too. i wouldn't trust anyone else near my head with scissors.
