Yes, I would go back!

Wowwwww! I am still astonished by the incredible beauty of the new Rodolfo Valentin salon, right close to my favorite shops, Channel, Cavalli, Hermes, Barneys, etc. About the services? as always I got a superb haircut by RV, a hair color that everybody in the street stops me to ask me who??? , by Pia, and a hairstyle by the new salon member, a sweet handsome and incredible talented European guy of name EYUP. In the new premises Rodolfo Valentin also has a cozy spa where I got an oriental style pedicure while lying in a comfortable couch between suede pillows, an hour aromatherapy massage followed by a warm shower and a RV signature facial to be remembered forever... The pleasures of my marvelous day didn't end there....my husband pick me up from the salon and surprised me with a dinner at Nello's, one of the best restaurants in New York just on the foot of the Salon. Pros: best hair coloring, best haircuts, best hairstyles, best all

Pure expertise in hair coloring

Rodolfo Valentin truly has an inflexible talent for hair coloring. It is obvious that he has mastered the skill of combining hair colors to accomplish the accurate hair color desired. At the beginning I was not convinced about the hair color I wanted to have, but Rodolfo and his unique method of picture out a person's interior beauty in an accepted and appropiate way lead me to right choice. He proved to me that he takes equilibrium and understatement to a fine ability. While having my color done, I witnessed how his faithful following of customers are making a statement of his expertise. After my hair was styled, I felt a happpiness that I never felt before after having my color done. Rodolfo in truth gave me exactly the hair color I was craving to have all my entire life!.

I have been at Rodolfo Valentin excellent salon last week. After working with several of the so-called top stylist and colorists,obviously they are an over rated product by public relations agents in New York, I also realized that they are probably good for a woman but not for a man. I do not know which one is the difference, or who is more difficult as a client or to care of, but after Rodolfo I learned that we are a little more difficult! Because after all these years of searching, Rodolfo is the only one that really understands what a guy needs!! And he did exactly what I wanted to have without discussion!! He is so talented! I am a witness of people saying before they are leaving thank you Rodolfo you are the best, thank you Rodolfo you great,thank you and thank you and thank you,each single person! Including me, I got a haircut and highlights, and the only I can say is that I am fascinated how the girls look at me now! THANKS RODOLFO!

Rodolfo Valentin is without any doubt the supreme hair cutter in the city. Thanks to him I got back again the glamour and charm previously given away in the hands of other famous (and very expensive = 350/400 dollars) hairdressers. Now, thanks to Rodolfo I can just wash and wear, and at the half of the price! It was worth every penny!! I also noticed a lot of people getting highlights who were extremely happy with the results! Next, I will try my color there. I am also very attracted by the hair infusions..I would love to have my hair longer!. The georgeous location offers a lot of privacy,calm atmosphere, and very welcoming people. Rodolfo himself is very chic and fun!.

Rodolfo Valentin is really an oasis in Madison avenue. They really manage to have a calm spa atmosphere in a beauty salon. It is very important to me to relax while I have my hair done, a pesonal gateway. I noticed as a guest that from the moment I walk into the cozy, elegant salon which specializes in color, color correction, hair extensions,damaged hair repair and cut/styling (these are all the services I get there), I found myself in a retreat of sight and sound. This salon offers all of the pampering luxuries that even the most spoiled diva would enjoy, but the difference here is that the laid back, ultra friendly staff makes everyone fell like they have stepped onto pedestals for the day. After one year of faithfulness to this salon, my previously damaged hair is clearly showing the great results being in the hands of a really very high skilled hair designer as Rodolfo Valentin and his staff.

Best beauty salon in New York? The answer is Rodolfo Valentin without any doubt. An effective escape from everyday stress is to have the best hair day of your life! This intimate haven offers privacy in handsome surroundings with old world furniture. There are three different ranks of hair stylists, which, in my opinion, I cannot define the difference between them, they all are gentle and high skilled, very well prepared by Rodolfo whom his clientele named Â“the walking encyclopedia of hairÂ” (including me). I proudly am his client since Rodolfo came to this country over 20 years ago, and his consistency in quality, his love for hair and his charm has made him win my loyalty all these years. His staff including Maritza, Edith, Mich, are extremely talented, and there is no difference between the qualities from service to service, they are superb in everything they do.

I've been going to Rodolfo for about four years. Before I found him, I basically just colored my own grays and never did any highlighting. Right away, Rodolfo convinced me to try some new things. The first time he did my highlights, I was just amazed. I can't express how many people complimented me on my hair. I have long-ish, very curly dark hair that tends to be dry and hard to manage. But since I've been going to Rodolfo regularly, my hair is so much healthier. He insisted my hair was too dark for my coloring and he was absolutely right. Now I really love my color. The other great thing about the salon is that Rodolfo and his partner, George, are so wonderful. They really make time for you. There's such a warm, friendly atmosphere--you can tell the staff really likes working there, which says a lot. It doesn't matter who you get--everyone does a great job and Rodolfo is always right there, watching over everyone, making sure everything is perfect. He feels very responsible for how you look and he wants everyone to walk out looking and feeling great.

genius hairdresser

I have been a client of rodolfo for 15 years, when I first came to use Rodofo my blonde hair was broken--he not only got my hair in wonderful condition but it has never broken again. He also changed the color to a BUTTER blonde with beautiful hi-lites and when he invented fusions he gave me volume and length. If I have to say so myself,I look great and I am always being stopped to ask me about my hair style and color. Rodolfo is a genius at his craft of stylist/colorist-- When he finishes doing his magic you feel as if you have had expensive plastic surgery, Sincerely Tibby Super

Rodolfo Valentin - My Hair Guru for Now and for Ever.

After having my hair bleached, butchered and destroyed by several "top" hair salons I searched and searched for a beacon of hope - a hairdresser who would not only fix my horrible tri-tone color (a combo of overbleached white, underbleached orange, and 6 inches of dark brown root) but help me salvage the terrible razor cut which made me look like I stuck my head in the office shredding machine. Through Citysearch, I discovered Rodolfo and he is my hair guru for now and ever. He not only made me the most gorgeous multi-dimensional redhead (a color I always dreamed of but never achieved!) but he blunted the edges with the SLIGHTEST trim. My hair looked no shorter, but was suddenly cascading and sexy, not frizzy and shorn. Every staff member is an expert and I have never recieved the attention and dedication to my hair as I have in this salon. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and other clients shared nothing but commendation and adulation for Rodolfo's genius. Rodolfo himself is charming, charismatic and unpretentious, and will make you feel right at home. This is truly the ultimate salon.

In my opinion, Rodlofo is the most talented stylist in New York City, and I have been to everyone. He is an absolute expert when it comes to color and his hair pieces are exquisite. I started going to Rodolfo at his salon on Long Island five years ago and was very, very happy when he finally opened in Manhattan. My daughter in law goes to Rodolfo almost every week and my daughter coordinates her visits to NY from LA so that she can get her hair colored by Rodolfo. We all love him. He is an absolute doll.
