Scam Artists

I've been to Salon de Quartier a few times now since moving to Cobble Hill 4 years ago, and each time they rip me off more than the last. Today I went back against my better judgment because of a last-minute event tonight. I went for a full-head of highlights, but no haircut. After the highlights were done and my rinsed hair was sopping wet, they told me that since I wouldn't be using a stylist for a cut that I would have to BLOW-DRY MY OWN HAIR. I paid $200 for highlights and had to walk out of that place into the cold rain with a wet head because these scam artists will try to make you pay for every last thing; a blow-dry by a stylist would have cost me an additional $50. What is wrong with these people?! Do NOT go here, it's a waste of time and money.

  • Yes, I would go back!

Been in there a few times now, each time I come away with a cut that receives complements. As far as I'm concerned that = success.
