WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! I bought a Groupon that expired so I ended up paying full price for a mediocre haircut and full highlights that did nothing to change my two-tone roots. I didn't really notice how off the color was till I got home because she had styled it so I couldn't tell. I went in a few days later and they told me I had to book an appointment just to speak to a stylist to discuss fixing my hair. Then the rude manager called me on Sunday morning (mothers' day) to confirm that appointment and said if I didn't come in I would be CHARGED--even tho it was just to DISCUSS what was wrong with my hair, not have any actual service performed. I told him I would come in and talk to the stylist when I got a break from work but he said I would be charged if I didn't come at the precise time. I said that was f'n crazy and then he said because of my "french" he would not do anything to fix my hair. Really the guy just didn't want to do anything to fix it. When I went back to talk to them in person, the receptionist told me the stylist had quit so they couldn't help me. I did finally speak to the owner/manager who agreed my roots had not taken any color but nevertheless refused to do anything to fix it "You catch more flies in oil" he told me (as if that makes sense) So be warned. This has to be the most ungracious and unhelpful salon I've ever been to. There are tons of salons in the East Village. Don't believe the hype!!

Scam

WARNING!!!! Don't be scammed by this place!!!!! I went there today for the first time and I was so excited because of all the great reviews. I wanted to get a cut and highlights but the girl said they had given me a 3 hour slot and because I was an hr late because I got lost getting there, she can only do my cut I said fine and I felt bad and I said I'll reschedule to go back since this was my fault. Then as I go to pay they want to charge $90 penalty for the fact that I got there late and didn't do the highlights. I told them if this is some sort of scam because they just lost business. This place isn't worth it I'm very disappointed with the way they think they should steal money from people instead of earning the money for the work. SHAME ON THEM!!

Awful!! Horrible costumer service and results. Watch out! I recently went o Avenue B for a Brazilian Blow out. Last year, I went and the results were great and lasted over 4 months. I went in June this year and had an appointment with Eric. Besides being very rude and not discussing the procedure at all, he was hitting my head the entire time with a brush. I was amazed at how careless he was and the lack of attention to what he was doing. Much worst was that this procedure lasted about 2.5 weeks. A brazilian blow out should last about 3 months, but this $350 one lasted less than 3 weeks. I called the salon to discuss and they were very rude to me and uninterested in quality custom service. The first person hung up on me and then a manager called me back and said I could come in for a consultation. I came in and the person did not asses my hair as the manger said he would and they told me what the said over the phone. This was a complete waste of time and my own time was not considered. The person giving my the consolation proceeded to insult me and and my hair without taking any responsibility that this was a faulty procedure. WATCH OUT! The customer should be treated respectufully and pride should be taken in their work. We all make mistakes, but when paying so much money they should be fixed. The quality of a great salon is on they treat their customer and the quality and pride taken in al their work - on this point Salon B FAILS.

Keratin treatment

I had the keratin treatment done and it cost me about $520 including tip and products. It took about 2 hours, and everyone was really nice. I was told it would last up to 3 months and I took care of my hair, only using the products they sold me. For the first few weeks it was great, silk smooth and no straightening irons required which was heaven! But after 5 week my hair is almost back to my original frizzy mess. I would do it again for a special occasion (like if I was going on a beach holiday), but it was too expensive for only 5 weeks.
