Gimme Some Sugar

By CityPixie on 2/12/2008

  • Overall Rating: 9
  • Atmosphere: (NA)
  • Service: 9
  • Yes, I would go back!

Sugaring is a genius alternative to waxing if for no other reason after your sugar treatment, a shower will simply melt away any residual mess. Not that there ever IS a mess -- the women at Shobha are absolute pros. They are neat, efficient and gentle. I never wait more than five minutes for an appointment (which doesn't even allow me time to finish the bottled spring water they kindly hand you upon check in) and I'm never "behind the closed door" for more than 15 minutes. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming but not spare. As an added bonus, they allow you to book appointments on-line (appointments are confirmed via email) which is a big plus if you, like me, tend to book grooming appointments during the workday and you happen to work in a privacy-free "open office" environment.
