Worst spa experience disrespectful staffs

No, I would not go back!

ATTENTION: DO NOT COME HERE FOR KOREAN BODY SCRUB !!!! I WARN YOU this is the most ridiculous experience from spa ever!! BEWARE!!! do not come here for body scrub!!! actually DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL ,SPEND MONEY ELSEWHERE THAT THEY'RE NOT CALLING YOU FAT WHEN YOU'RE GETTING A TREATMENT!! THE MOST RIDICULOUS EMPLOYEES EVER!! here's what happened...i've been getting scrub like once a month and been trying yipak ,juvanex,king sauna,tribeca spa and more- after fw research to try difference places for korean scrub- lead me to silk spa they located not so far from my apartment..so, why not? they charge 150 for scrub only no hair wash and face mask like other places - and i kind of understand since they seems to offer more on amenity and the place look nice on the website. i called in and book a scrub- get myself there, while i was waiting for the lady on the waiting area in my robe.. i saw she came to get me and look at me and then walk back out without talking to me and few second later,i heard she spoke loudly "I NEED EXTRA LARGE SIZE!" i kid you not!!! that korean lady who about to scrub me, said that im TOO FAT!!??! and there were a giggling from few girls probably receptionists or other workers.. i really dont have any idea..at that point, i was more than mortified, i felt really humiliated and felt disrespected!!! Will not come again ever

Professional Staff, Knowlegdeable Therapist

Yes, I would go back!

I live in the West Village and there are a ton of spas to chose from but I prefer Silk to all the rest. I'm there 2-3 times a month for massages and body scrubs and appreciate how the staff remembers my personal preferences and are consistent with thier level of professionalism. I have also seen several different massage and scrub therapist and they are all very skilled and knowledeable about their craft. You can tell these people really love what they do and care about their clients well-being. Really good vibes here.

Yes, I would go back!

I don't know how people had bad experiences at this spa - it's competely a stand out from the "bliss" genre of spas that New York is known for. Extremely relaxing, non-rushed service, large spa complete with all the extras - I would definitely go back, and recommend to all!

Yes, I would go back!

After having to convince my husband to come with me for the Empress/Emporor "pkg for 2" to celebrate our anniversary- after the spa, he is now asking when we can go back! The staff was GREAT, soft spoken & a pleasure to deal with. The facilities are clean & absolutely gorgeous...A little pricy, but it is worth it !...in one afternoon, we felt like we'd been away ...far far away ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
