I always look forward to visiting Styles on B. They've really taken the time to get to know me and ensure that my haircut matches my personality. I'm at a point where I can sit down in the chair and say "Do whatever you want. I trust you." And I am always happy with the result. The salon itself has a really pleasant laid back atmosphere. I feel like I'm hanging out with my girlfriends when I'm getting my hair cut. And that's a lovely way to spend my time.
Absolute Best for Weddings and Everyday!
By HBurgdoerfer on 4/29/2011
I found Stacy over 3 years ago while searching for someone for my wedding. Right when I met her, I knew we would click. The day of the wedding she brought her amazingly cool downtown vibe and handled all the different personalities flawlessly. She had quite a range of ladies to style, from my timid mother, to the bridesmaid who wanted the retro 50's due, to my sister with the curliest hair that no one can ever handle - all were beyond happy. I got married on a rooftop on a windy evening, but my hair survived the entire night. After the wedding I left my previous stylist (of 7 years) and grabbed the first appointment I could get with Stacy. Over the course of the first year she repaired my over-colored damaged hair and continuously gives me that perfectly imperfect hair that I crave! Going to Stacy to get my hair done at her vintage inspired studio, with her amazing staff is always a treat. You won't find a more genuine experience anywhere! I will never go to anyone else.
Perfect Wedding-Day Hair!!!
By jenmost on 4/3/2011
I was married a week ago, and I'm still getting compliments on my hair. As I told Stacy - I was always confident my hair would come out wonderfully, but I never expected as many compliments as I've gotten. Everything was professional and high quality - starting with the trials (I had two because I'm indecisive and every look she tried was so worthy!) in the downtown studios. Right off the bat Stacy understood what I was looking for, and I walked away with amazing choices. She is so nice, patient, and accommodating. It was a pleasure to work with her and her whole team. My sister is particularly picky - but Samantha (Stacy's associate) gave her a sweet headband-ed look that lasted all night and which she didn't complain about once! That is a feat. My mother, whose only wish was to look like the "mother of the bride" not the "grandmother of the bride" was also incredibly happy and satisfied (Samantha worked on her as well). We were definitely a satisfied bunch of customers. And never once that morning did we feel anxious or stressed for time, or that things wouldn't be come out great. As for my hair - I adored it. And like my sister - I am also incredibly picky. So that is saying A LOT. Also - the hair stayed put. All night. And believe me - I danced and danced and danced. It was amazing. Beautiful, professional, high quality, and long lasting. What more is there to ask for!!
SOOO lucky to find Stacy Pitt!
By splat on 4/2/2011
Stacy Pitt and her brilliant associate Samantha performed magic when they did the do's for my daughter, her bridesmaids and me this past Sunday. We kept admiring each other prior to the wedding, and received many compliments throughout the reception. Stacy, Samantha and makeup artist extraordinaire Sally Duvall arrived at our venue early (despite having worked another wedding earlier that day); their promptness and calm professionalism were as reassuring as their talent.
Stacy Pitt is THE BEST
By maggie515 on 5/24/2009
It's without any exaggeration that I say Stacy Pitt single handedly elevated my career! As a a TV reporter she changed my entire look, updated my style while making me look five years younger! Not only is Stacy talented, she is professional, accommodating, and a pleasure to be around. I've been with her for two years, and I wouldn't think of letting anyone else touch my hair. Simply put, Stacy is the best.
