One Fabulous Facial

I went for a facial tonight at The Spa at Equinox on Wall St. and it was nothing short of amazing. The spa room was peaceful and very clean; tidy. The lighting set the mood for bliss, the bed was warm and cozy and the the amazing scent of lavender essential oil allowed the stress to melt off me the moment I walked in the room. Mimi was terrific, very personable and what I liked most was that she addressed my skin's needs delicately. Instead of extracting every inch of my face, whether it needed it or not, she targeted a few problem areas and that was it. The peel was intense enough to do the job, yet gentle enough for my sensitive skin. The caviar mask, although pricey, was a treat in and of itself. Mimi's experience and knowledge of skincare was obvious. I left glowing and relaxed. I can't wait to go back for my next facial.
