Great Guys Cut

I arrived in NYC this year and Tim came highly recommended. He is professional, unpretentious and cuts they way I ask, not how he feels I may want. I have visited other places, like Freeman's, but Tim gives a better guys cut by far. According to my wife, it is the best cut I've had. To top it all off, Tim's a lovely bloke to chat with. 5 stars from me.

Great Salon

Tim Dark gives possibly the best hair cut in NY, and I should know, having tried all the high-priced salons (Bumble and Bumble, etc.). He was recommended to me, and I have since recommended him to a number of people, all of whom have thanked me many times over. There is a reason he is the person that trains others at top salons . . .

Forget the hype of the IN salons and get a great haircut

I have tried several of the hippest, hottest salons for cut and coloring over the years. Tim Dark makes these folks look like amateurs. His salon is tiny, no music, no fancy "aren't I fabulous?" clothes. Just a brilliant haircut and color. He takes such time and care, you won't believe it. Straight men friends have said "What a great haircut!" it's the best I've ever had in several decades in NYC. And to top it off, he is very smart about film, art, etc. making it fun to discuss while I get fixed up. I can't recommend him highly enough.
