Yes, I would go back!

i have been to all the chain salons and the high end salons in nyc..i'm so happy i finally found the best salon period. had short hair for many many years...tried to grow it out which is tough as most of you know..every stylist i went to took me two steps back instead of helping me grow my hair out..i first went to woon almost a year ago and as of today i have the hair i always wanted!!! kevin is a great listener, takes your lifestyle, habits, hair texture into great consideration and gives you the hair of your dreams. although i appreciate the compliments i always get i am grateful to find a stylist i trust. don't miss the days of growing out a bad bad haircut. he's worth every penny.

At Home in the Lounge

Yes, I would go back!

Woon is like a zen oasis - like Kevin, the place has a warm and understated charm. The music collection is excellent and very cool ... just like Mr. Woon! Any anxiety about getting that hair cut vanishes as soon as one enters. Kevin is a master at his craft; a technician and a perceptive artist who knows just what is best for each client. My hair is thick and wavy, it requires technique, patience and artistic ability. Kevin has found the secret to cut it in a way that it moves, sways and grows naturally and perfectly. I have known Kevin for many years, and although my travels have required that I visit other salons, no one "gets it" as Kevin does. While living abroad, my friends and colleagues knew when I said I was coming to New York, it also meant: haircut with Kevin. I'm back in New York now; home again and in more than one way!

I have been to Kevin for many years...every time he cuts my hair, it's a great experience because it's always the epitome of perfection. I have been consistently very happy for many years! I used to tell him to please fly to the city where I lived for a few years to teach my stylist there since he didn't quite make the mark even though he was very famous! Even though I have never had a similarly great haircut by anyone else - and I have experimented with the best in the business - the best part of the experience is Kevin. He's very unassuming and extremely nice...an amazing human being!

I've known Kevin for a long time. He used to cut my hair every time I come to New York. Now that I live here nobody cuts my hair except Kevin. I always feel good after a visit to Kevin. Then I met Michael Anthony who was recommended by my daughter and son. Since then I can't think of anyone coloring my hair except Michael Anthony. The two Kevin and Michael Anthony works beautifully that I come out of the salon feeling young and getting compliments just makes me feel that it's worth every penny I have to say that these two young men knows what's best.

I found Kevin when he was at Oribe Salon many years ago and he has been cutting my hair ever since. He, of course, now has his own salon that is one of the coolest spots in Soho. And he is so gifted at cutting hair! I LOVE his haircuts.

Here is the man who gives you what you deserve- your hair in a cut that is always great looking. Kevin can "read" hair and he has the kind of eyes for style that most cutters can only dream of. he gives cuts that are modern but interpreted especially for you. I've seen him work on thick hair, thin hair, fine, course, curly and lank. He is the most natural born hair person in New York (and that means the world). he speaks softly, listens closely, and he's really cute. No one but Kevin touches my hair.

I've been a loyal client of Kevin's for two years now and can't say enough great things about him. He truly is one of the most talented hair stylists I've ever come across. During my first visit, he took a relentless interest in learning about my hair, upkeep, style, etc. -- and crafted the exact look that we brainstormed together. Prior to Kevin, I routinely had to coach my stylists through every snip of the scissors. But with Kevin, I give him complete artistic freedom -- I sit back, relax, and get an amazing cut every time. The ambiance is also a one-of-a-kind experience in Manhattan. His Nolita salon is dressed in fresh plants and candles, and its customary to find his dog Gohan wandering about. Kevin is part-hair stylist / part iTunes DJ -- and with intimate, yet buzzing conversation, the place emulates a zen lounge more than a place to get one's hair cut. Highly highly highly recommend !!!
