Worst experience of my life

No, I would not go back!

Went to get highlights and my roots done, instead, the 'stylist' bleached my hair all over, it went white with bright orange roots. She then tried to fix it by putting BLACK low lights. She then did something else I don't even know what which turned it green. After 7 hours (1 o'clock in the morning) and multiple failed attempts to salvage my once very healthy long blonde hair, I told her to stop and left - only after they actually attempted to charge me!!! Not once did any other stylist ask if she needed help or offer advice or ask me if I was ok - and it was obvious this hideous woman was absolutely murdering my hair. No one even asked me if i wanted a glass of water in SEVEN HOURS. I wrote a letter to the owners telling them what had happened. I got one phone call back - she left an apologetic message on my voicemail asking me to call her back. When I did she never returned my call. My hair - six inches shorter as it was so damaged they had to cut it off - is only now recovering after many months of treatments and of course $$$. Don't do it. Awful.

Dissappointed

No, I would not go back!

I've been going to Woodley & Bunney to get my hair done for years, but the past few times I've been dissapointed. I also think it's a bit overpriced. A friend of mine recommend I try Onyx & Jade in Bryant Park, and I saw that buywithmeNYC is offering a cut and blowdry for just $30 right now here: http://bit.ly/bgTifj. Do any of you know anything about this salon? I think I'm going to give it a try, the deal is too good to pass up!

Yes, I would go back!

My first experience at Woodley and Bunny was a great one! Loved the salon's ambiance and my stylist was spot on. Jennipher listened to my wants and went from there! I walked out with one of the best cuts I've had in a long time. Her style is classic and confident, and the cut is easy to maintain myself. I'll be going back for sure!

Yes, I would go back!

I was totally fed up with my look and needed a change. I've only just moved into the Williamsburg neighborhood after living in Manhattan for a LONG time. A friend recommended this place to me as somewhere that had a great vibe and also provided amazing hair styles. I booked in with Andy who is a really nice guy. I had no idea what I wanted, just new that I wanted a change and he totally worked with me on that in a really laid back but totally professional manner. For someone who doesn't go to salon's a great deal the atmosphere was totally cool and the hairstylists both male and female are much better looking than the usual barber shop I go to !!! Also, they have a really cool Apothecary where I was talked thru the kind of products I should be using. I'm definitely going back.

An urban gem

Yes, I would go back!

The space is open and welcoming. The staff is attentive and friendly. I felt at ease apon entering, even though the salon and apothocary is very spacious. The stylists are very ecclectic but down to earth. I got my hair cut by Jacoall. She cuts dry and the shape that hair has is so easy to style. I am a fan of the technique now. Overall the salon is truly a gem.

They ruined my hair for a wedding, need i say more?! The stylist was unable to do my hair and asked for help which is good but none of the other stylists were able to fix it either. I asked for a simple chignon, how difficult is that??!

Yes, I would go back!

I was apprehensive about this place after the other review but my friend had gone and loved it. Besides the fact that the place was really open and white and clean feeling, but also welcoming, my hairdresser, Marcel, did a wonderful job and I was shocked! My hair is long and not too hard to cut, but my bangs have always been a challenge.. and he nailed them!!
