Lower east side is the place to be for the art scene in New York my girl friend and I were really happy to find the Rivington after visiting the galleries on Orchard St (Michali Fine Art is incredible). First class hotel, crowd and cuisine.

After a long research my huband and I decided to stay there on our last visit to NY, and eventhough we dont regret it, we do think that the hotel needs some more experience in guest service. Staff is super friendly, but service is super bad! Complimentary breakfast is really nice. I guess this will be the IT hotel once they get the grip on how to treat guests and improve their service. About decor, the rooms are great! Excellent size and great, great shower and bed!

There’s never been more lodging here, and the rooms have never looked this good.
