imaginocean--beware of theater rules
By agitig on 12/26/2010
show was very good--exactly what you are hoping for in terms of entertainment for your child(ren). however, know in advance that when they say on the website "everyone has to buy a ticket", they mean everyone. if you are a parent of a young baby, like our 4 month old newborn, they will slap you with a 20 dollar "lap seat" ticket to take the baby in. everyone working there will give you the same line--they "need to account for every person seeing the show....for insurance reasons..." but if you persist, you will start to get more and more excuses "it's a children's show and everyone getting to see the show has to have a ticket," "we can't start saying some ages don't need to buy a ticket while others do," it says on our website everyone needs a ticket so you should have known." the bottom line is, they are tacky enough to want to get you to pay for even a sleeping newborn on top of the generous ticket price you are already paying per person. it will leave a bad taste in your mouth if you are not expecting it.
