This movie that we saw today in class in my opinion was very disturbing. I am not a vegetarian but prior to seeing this movie I did not know to the extent of how these farmers treat animals. I understand that there are needs to kill animals for peoples nutrition but the way they make it into almost a factory and assembly line is very disturbing to me. Something that caught my attention during the movie and which we spoke about in class was the family that was in the movie and only had a dollar to spend. Although many people have the mentality that they would rather get a full meal for 1$ at McDonalds rather than browse the supermarket to see what they can get with the money that they have, I happen to strongly disagree with that. There are other alternatives to buying food that are healthier and you will still get the proper nutrients than buying something from the dollar meal; which is the easier route.
