More Please, J.C. Chandor

Sometimes I'll decide to see certain movies and read opinions afterwards. I just read David Edelstein's review. I don't know what's worth saying about Margin Call that hasn't been expressed by David Edelstein here, A.O. Scott, insightful critics elsewhere, and I suppose, reader reviewers on other sites. Although, having seen this film only hours ago - and despite _getting_ the ending, J.C. Chandor left me wanting more. Yes, I found Margin Call disturbing, but rather than perceiving his effort as "food for thought", I came away as entertained as I'd have hoped to be by any fictional work. Nevertheless, I'm envisioning a sequel. I realize the challenge it would be to construct equally exciting scenarios in this post 2008 economy, but J.C. Chandor was able to present this story brilliantly on so many levels (especially for those who understand why trying to guess who's who is not the point) and I am imagining an after the carnage faux documentary with the same cast of characters could be a stellar follow-up to Margin Call!

Very good acting. Plot is of course very actual. Good inside story of the "the fantastic world of bankers"! and the air bubble we live in and its consequences to our life.
