If you're gonna use such strong, broad, huge, and incredibly negative statements as "world's most overrated director" "most obnoxious screenwriter" "shallow... thinks he’s deep and edgy" try writing a little more than a few paragraphs. Reading David Edelstein has become more and more like reading a fifteen year old blogger. Why so personal and nasty with so little insight? And don't tell me that because of the onslaught of holiday movies it makes it okay to make such career condemning statements without devoting more thought and time to backing those statements up.
