I hated this theater, never again!

This theater was the worst theater I ever been to. The worst customer service ever. The older lady in the front was nasty, rude, loud and very nosy. She is intrusive. This theater is cold, smells bad and the movie kept freezing and stopping.

Good, Independent Theater

I love this theater because of the homemade cookies you can buy (instead of popcorn, but they have that also) before each movie. I like that there are no "standard" previews since it's independent; there is only one preview and it's always for a film that will be playing at the theater in a few months. Just remember that if you're under 65, you'll be among the youngest people in the theater. This is probably because of the neighborhood (Kew Gardens is mainly older, white residents) and the abundance of housing developments for seniors in the area. The staff is very friendly, which is a lot more than I can say for other theaters in NYC.
