I have come back to look up this recipe every single Thanksgiving since it was published to make it. Super easy, simple ingredients and simply THE BEST THANKSGIVING DISH OF ALL TIME. That, and the carmelized brussel sprouts by the same chefs. Love that one too.

I've been tasked with making the sweets for over 20 years for the giant family Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays. I started out with a sweet potato souffle which was good. Next, I did a candied yams effort. Then a maple and orange version. I think there was an apple and something version. Alas, this dish is the one I will provide for the rest of my time. This is one recipe the relatives ask for. It's fun to make; I even bought a mandolin slicer (I think the uniformly, thinner potato slices definitely contribute to the experience.) A few ingredients, just basic stuff, make this the best sweet potato dish ever. Man, is it delicious. You won't be sorry!

So glad I made this for Thanksgiving dinner. As requested, I printed off several copies for every guest I had today. Gotta go; it's time for dessert!
