Wow! The guys writing these bad reviews must run over-priced restaurants. The food here (I've been three times) is always very tasty and beautifully prepared. The room is casual and attractive and despite what I've read here I've always enjoyed the service....attentive but never annoyiing. I guess if you want red velvet curtains, gushing waiters and over-priced food this place is NOT for you. The vibe is cool and young, the wine list is terrific and affordable...and the bill always makes me smile. It's not La Grenouille and it doesn't want to be either! There's plenty of restaurants that will knock you out for $100 a head, but few that make food this good AND this cheap!

Located in an area that still has some bohemian bite, 360 has never failed to wow me with meals I'd expect to cost much more. I was also surprised by the unusual and delicious wine selection. Le Bernardin it ain't, but for the price of a tiny appetizer there, you can have a three course meal! I've taken some foodie friends and some french gourmets and they all enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the interesting and always tasty menu. If you want to take someone to a cool, fun place and have some great food and wine I'd recommend 360.

Service "Rough & Gruff".. Priced OK but missing a spark.. Can sometimes judge a restaurant by its bathroom and it was a mess.. glad I used it after the meal and not before.. need to get a restarurant consultant in to make some changes and then might be fine.. but not the way it is now.

Based on other reviews I read, my expectations were lowered, but I must admit, I was thoroughly impressed. Service was not overly attentive, but if we needed something, they were never out of sight, and were very friendly. We arrived a bit early and while we waited for our table, the waiter recommended a great bottle of sauvignon blanc that went very well with the food. The food was phenomenal! My girlfriend and I got different dishes and shared them. Our favorite dishes were a leek dish with a garlic, caper vinaigrette, and both of our mains. I had roasted chicken, the breast was sliced and the legs were stuffed with garlic and green olives with potato puree and she had crispy pork belly with celery root puree, we loved both of them. It was a great evening, a very nice atmosphere, great decor, and tremendous value. While its not the easiest place to get to without a car, its well worth the trip. Highly recommended!

I notice that the negative reviews here are pretty old. I have to say that I thought the food was amazing. SO flavorful. We started with mussels in curry and cilantro that were plump and sweet; and spaetzle with mushrooms and leeks that was meltingly delish; then amazing sweet yet squashy butternut squash soup was a perfect starter on a cool autumn night. For my entree, I had the pork belly, and who knows what that is, right? Who cares, it was so good. My dining companion had the monkfish cheeks, which like my dish had a flavorful sauce that added to a great dish. And dessert? My favorite was the lemon tart, more lemony than I'd ever expect, in a good way. I can't wait to take my wine-enthusiast friend there to check out the unusual wines. Heck, I just can't wait to go back!!

Even the finest chefs in the most conveniently located restaurants have a gracious staff. This food was good enough, but the arrogance of the schlubs that run the joint undermines everything they do. Here's a tip, boys: if you want people to schlep out to the end of the earth that is Red Hook, cultivate your clientele. Wait on us, see if we need anything, make sure we're happy. These guys may think they're gourmands, but they might as well have been watching ESPN and crackin' open the PBR cans in the back, they were so damn rude.

Although the food was generally tasty and innovative, the service was so, SO horrible that we will never return. The guys in charge of 360 act as if they are being terribly inconvenienced when you have the audacity to ask for things like water (which was served grudgingly only after we asked 3 times). You can almost FEEL these guys rolling their eyes when anyone interrupts their self-absorbed chit chat in the back of the restaurant. There is no butter, salt or pepper on the tables - presumably because the self-satisfied folks that run this place think that their food is so perfectly seasoned that only a rube would dare alter it (wrong! The lentils that accompanied their duck confit were quite bland - a little salt would have made them perfect. Alas, there was none to be found on any of the tables and no server responded to our plaintive stares). Guys - wake up! Remember - if you want to make money in the restaurant business, it might be a good idea to try and make your customers happy.

Seasonnal, tasty, well executed inventive food, backed by a very interesting, unusual and inexpensive wine list. 3 courses for $25 !!! seems like a very small price to pay for a meal of this quality. Service is relaxed yet very professional, don't hesitate to ask them for recommendations. To me what modern bistro should be.

I had a reservation, arrived about 10 minutes early, and had to wait about 1 hour for my table (for 2). I would probably have gone somewhere else but I was told it would just be a couple of minutes. The place seemed very understaffed - there were only 2 waiters and the maitre'd/ wine steward and the service was just awful - I had to get up twice to get myself a spoon and later a glass of water. Another couple waited over an hour as well, eventually got fed up and apparently said something to the maitre'd, who then started yelling at them and asked them to leave. That said, the food was pretty good. The oyster appetizer was excellent, the steak was very good, and my date had (I think) a beet salad that was excellent too. However, all in all it was a very bad experience. The crowd ranges from late 20's - 50's and the dress is casual. The decor was pleasant but unremarkable.
