My man and I were in NYC for the hurricane, staying in Chelsea (or SoPo - South of Power as some renamed the area). No power but we did have hot water. We walked and walked and came upon this oasis on Halloween night. We looked inside and saw a dimly lit, packed restaurant with gorgeous waiters dressed for the occasion (read: scantily clad with body glitter) and thought, "This is it!" Went right in. Never even looked at a menu. With no reservation we had to wait a bit for a table so we sidled up to bar and enjoyed a cocktail until one was available. In spite of the fact that table was four inches from the one beside us AND we were literally in the foyer, we were delighted! Having survived the hurricane we were up for anything. Our server was Zack. He was delightful, charming, well-informed and helped us negotiate the menu. We started with the spice crusted ahi tuna and the Maine lobster taco. Both were great but the taco was so good we almost ordered another before our meals arrived. For our mains, my man had the filet mignon and I had the halibut. Both perfectly cooked and very generous portions. No room for dessert. A perfect meal. The next night - our last night in the city - we went back again for dinner. Two nice guys at the bar paid for our bar tab and we had another amazing meal. We can't wait to go back!!

Just took a chance on a new place that that not in the middle of NYC and all of us loved it. Table was not ready so we had a drink and the bartender came up with a nice version of a margherita ! Food was very good and the wait staff quick and attentive. Would definitely recommend and return !!

We had to unexpectedly leave the restaurant before our meal arrived, and asked for everything to be packaged to go. The staff and owner accommodated us extremely well, even offering a glass of wine, on the house, while I waited for everything. Ten minutes later, at home, we were enjoying the most tender and succulent filet mignon with potatoes au gratin & a perfectly prepared mouth watering duck dinner. I was extremely happy with the meal and the service, and look forward to my next visit very, very soon!

We went as a party of four and everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was attentive and personable. The place is bright and clean. It is fortunate that they are on Tenth, just a bit out of the way for the restaurant row crowd, because if they were closer in, we'd probably never get a table. Going back again tonight.

Pan seared filet mignon with tart tomato jam and savory potatoes au gratin...love love love it! the servers are gracious and funny, the decor is clean, modern & romantic (even the bathroom has candlelight!). I've gone back and will continue to return telling everyone i know about it along the way!

This is a favorite in Hell's Kitchen - good food with reasonable prices, drinks are well mixed, and the waiters are friendly and sooo cute. The lobster taco and the beet salad are some of my favorite appetizers in the city

Even though we had a reservation for a table, we had to wait over an hour because the hostess kept reassuring us it'd be just 15 more minutes again and again. Had she been honest and told us she couldn't guarantee our table, we would have left for 5 Nakpins or Eatery nearby. Worst yet, the food was so pedestrian and overpriced. Also, some staff members have major attitude. Do yourself a favor and skip this pretentious wanna be spot.
