CHICKEN NOT BEEF

I want every one to know one thing..if you don't eat beef, please be aware that even though you have an enormous list of choices, by the time ou get to order, they will assume you want beef and if you forget to specify it, you will get whatever the choice is and they will "ABOSUTELY NOT" work with you and you would have paid for something you cannot eat. I will never ever return to this establishment and before you make this mistake and be out of your hard earn cash. Just make it clear what your choice of meat is, or you will be stuck, because there is no policy of working with customers there, forget about the manager he didn't even give us one choice of how to solve this issue.

Warning they will get your order wrong!!! We live in the neighborhood and have eaten in and taken out from burger 67. Every time they get the order wrong, it has happened 4 times now! Even when it is not busy. There are always 5 workers standing around chatting. Not worth your money or time.

Good burger, average service based on 3 visits, actually expensive, based on the location. My burger was cold when it came because the wait staff was unoccupied (they had no one but me in mid-afternoon) and let it sit there after the cook (not a chef) put it up. I sent it back and pointed out the whole "I know I'm here alone but expect the best" argument and got another burger slammed on the table. They offer delivery. I placed an order for delivery but it never showed. When I called, I was hung up on twice, then told that the delivery guy couldn't find my apt. I am still waiting for those burgers, two months later. Finally, because the replacement burger originally given on my first visit was OK, I stopped in again on 5-27-2008. What a f---ing nightmare! Words could not describe how I was treated (yes, I reminded them of their prior failures).

Why burgers are so good

In this city of burgers the deciding factor of doneness seems to seperate the pack from 'neighborhood hot spot', to 'soon to be forgotten'. I found that the burgers at 67 are consistantly on the mark. I spoke to the chef one day while there was some down time and he confirmed the imperative of proper doneness and aggressive seasoning for a burger to be elavated out of the realm of fast food to an enjoyable fast meal. If you find yourself heading to B.A.M. and time running short, you will do yourself a great sevice by stopping by the 67 burger to remind you what a good burger is about.

It's nice to see a burger joint that doesn't try to gild the lilly. Simple, high-quality, fresh ingredients, prepared well. The burgers are fine - big, meaty, juicy, and flavorful - but it's the TURKEY burgers that are truly special. So rich and tasty you don't miss not having real beef. The owners really paid close attention to the details - thick, tangy pickle slices; fresh slab of red onion; a single, broad leaf of crisp lettuce. Oh and the fries (regular, curly, or sweet potato) are great too. :) In a word: Yum. p.s. - super kid-friendly too.
