Buzina Pop is one of the diamonds of the UES. I have eaten there many times, and I have to say all their dishes are knock-your-socks-off good, particularly the tuna tartare and cachaca-molasses reduction, the carne seca, the Paulista salad and the pink bean soup. But it all starts with the "special" olive oil mix with spices and fresh bread that do not taste like anywhere else. Caipirinhas are only better on the beach in Rio, and the staff (all the staff) is friendly, unpretentious and helpful. They accommodate (and take good care of) doggies in their outside dining area on the quieter street side of the restaurants. However, do not over-order because portions are plentiful, and perfect to share. It is also a good place for drinks on the weekend, and a very decent hot spot for people-watching. By all means, prefer it to Orsay if you are looking for a enjoyable night out on Lexington...
