The signature cocktails were too sweet (and expensive for Brooklyn at $11 a pop) and service was sub par. The bill came out to be $75 per person for some shared bruschetta, wine and a (small) entree per person. It seemed a bit expensive for a place that won't give you a clean fork and spoon between courses.

We did not have a reservation, so we waited for a seat at the "bar" along the open Kitchen and decided to eat there. The service was terrible in the beginning (the hostess was nervous, uncomfortable and rude - taking phone calls and adding people to the waiting list while we, and others, were lined up waiting to speak to her - we were not the only ones that had to complain). But the food, was really , quite amazing and put us at such ease. Watching the kitchen, we began to get excited about what to order - the food looked amazing, we sampled several appetizers, each delicious. And then moved on to their perfectly made pasta. The food was well seasoned, well cooked, simple and flawless. What a lovely surprise. I recommend not only the restaurant, but sitting at the bar with the opportunity to see how all this amazing food is made!

I must have Lunetta's delicious, fresh fare at least every other week. If there's ever a reason to eat carbs it's Lunetta's Carbonara. Drinks won't disappoint either... best 'Ol Fashioned' ever. Service is fantastic as well.

Overall, the small plates here are the best. And definitely get the meatballs!
