Tried to go to perch for brunch. The server didn't come over for a minimum of 5 minutes to even take our drink order. Another 10 minutes to take our drink order. After waiting 30 MINUTES for a bowl of oatmeal, we decided to leave. The "manager" charged us for our two drinks we had while waiting there for a good hour and told us with a big smile "sorry, first come first serve!" when the restaurant was near empty.

Best servers, patient with both mommies and singles and groups. A smallish menu, but everything on it is delicious. They have a couch to chill out on, a bar, and baby sing a longs some mornings. If you don't want to be around crowds of kids, get there early! And get those grits to share!!

They are so child friendly at Perch. I meet there almost weekly with out new moms group, and the staff is all smiles when we arrive. There's plenty of room for groups, or for singles to hang out on their laptops too. A great mix of people, terrific food, and a beautiful setting; what more can you ask for?

Bad coffee and bad-for-you comfort food served with a smile. I love, love, love their vegetable curry, which is a tidal wave of white coconut milk spilling over a massive helping of white rice, pushing aside soft crowds of roasted vegetables. Along the same lines, their cinnamon toast is tasty too: made with lily-white sugar on lily-white bread. If that isn't enough to give you diabetes, check out the adorable birds-on-a-wire logo on their sign and all their gear. Service is kindly and relaxed. I would go back all the time if it wasn't so... bad for me...
