came here on saturday night with a large group (not an easy order for a 3-person staff and a packed house). found the food to be tremendously underspiced and generally underwhelming. portions were discouragingly small (three pieces of chorizo - one an end piece that was burnt beyond recognition - to go with three small wedges of machego). while the plates were reasonable in price, they were egregiously small in the appetizers and small plates. atmosphere was great (very lowkey) and the staff non-intrusive. but with so many other great places doing similar things with far better food, tough to feel like the night wasn't wasted.

We landed at A Casa Fox on a cold winter night... looking forward to some Southern American food after our recent trip to Argentina... and we were not disappointed... The platter of Empanadas are awesome.. each one flavourful and exotic in its own way... The chimichuri and chorizo plate was awesome.. as good as anything we had tasted in SA!! And finally the Arroz Con Pollo was delightfully spiced.. not too hot and spiced just right!!! Topped up with a bottle of wine.. this was a complete meal for the two of us!! To top it off.. Melissa, the delightful owner sent us some dessert to celebrate our anniversary.. she tops even the food... Would recommend it highly!!

I wish I could go here every week with friends. The tapas and sangria can add up, but Fox is pretty reasonably priced. I rank the fun, small setting over the food, but it's still really good and the sangria is my favorite in the city. The crowd is mixed, and you can go as dressy or casual as you want. Cute, fun, intimate and relaxed.

A Casa Fox is no longer a BYO so don't worry about the corking fee. They have a decent selection of Central American beers and wines, and sangria. The food is excellent, though a bit pricy given the portions.

I had a terrific time here with my boyfriend -- delicious, inexpensive food in a cozy atmosphere. The staff were lovely and let us linger as long as we wanted. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. Oh, and the corking fee? People are really complaining about this? Would you rather bring your own $20 bottle and pay a $6 corking fee, or pay $40 for the same bottle off a menu? Come on people, this is an excellent deal! I love this place!

I've read the previous reviews and am perplexed !!! We had a lovely and amazing time by the cozy fireplace; the service was quite attentive and the food scrumptious - and the place was extremely busy! The owner even came out from the kitchen to check up on all of us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves - now that is service. More importantly, we had an incredible meal of fresh baked empanadas, fried manchego, spicy shrimp and the best of all...the braised pork ribs. HIGHLY recommneded
